Flake's was the only R to vote against Farr.
However, he had Abrams and Gillum on his side. Too bad only Flake had a vote.

Pence cast his 10th Senate tie breaking vote to advance Thomas Farr nomination to be US District judge for Eastern NC. 50 Republicans including Scott (last to vote) voted Yes. Flake joined all 47 Democrats & 2 Independents in voting No
However, he had Abrams and Gillum on his side. Too bad only Flake had a vote.

Defeated Democratic gubernatorial candidates Stacey Abrams of Georgia and Andrew Gillum of Florida voiced their opposition Tuesday to a North Carolina judicial nominee for what they called a “disregard for fundamental civil rights.”
Lawyer Thomas Farr, 64, was nominated to preside over the Eastern District of North Carolina by President Donald Trump in July 2017 and could fill the longest judicial vacancy in the country, reported NBC News.

I didn't know two Gubernatorial election losers were in the US Senate.

Good. frick Jeff Flake.
Even though Dems take the house I’m ready for the new Congress so this shite can stop in the Senate. Paul Ryan’s house ain’t doing jack shite anyways.
Senate can still take up a lot of previously passed House bills as well

I’ll never get tired of winning... but I bet they get sick of losing.

I'm confused as to why Scott(Rick - FL) is voting - I thought his term didn't start until January.

This is like a ref calling a bunch of penalties at the end of the game to "even everything out".

Only a cloture vote. Still has the final floor vote. We'll see if Tim Scott will hold the line.

I hope someone beats his arse the first day he isn't a US Senator.

Tim Scott’s gonna ram it down your racist throat, again.

He voted against Trump's 9th Circuit nominee because of his past racial statements. Why wouldn't he do the same in his own backyard?
You referring to me as a racist is classic projection.
