Hopefully getting Trump back to the GOP agenda. Trump has pissed off people in the GOP maybe Pence can talk with some members of congress to get some things accomplished.

Reminds me of The West Wing when VP Hoynes scheduled a weekend retreat in New Hampshire with a new policy initiative "The Energy Corridor of the Northeast".
Tobbie figured it out and found out Bartlet had MS. Hoynes eventually backed down and ran with Bartlet for his 2nd term. After Bartlet was reelected a full blown sex scandal came out against Hoynes.
In other words, Pence had an affair sometime back and will get exposed if he challenges Trump. Also there was a primary poll inside GOP by Marist with Trump 50 Pence 33
