But according to Joe Biden’s OWN words, the Vice President does. These people are such disgusting hypocrites.
I agree that, in its depths, that was an act he should have charged with a crime, but on its face, it was an act that was intended to meet our national interests. Cloaked in that, Biden can claim it had nothing to do with his son, but it's a ruse and a farce.

Biden's son got paid as much as $600,000 a year by some random Ukrainian energy company to do a job he wasn't even qualified to do and then less than two years later his father got a prosecutor unfriendly to the company fired..

The Democrats want no part of this s***

Please explain to me how merely ASKING Ukraine to investigate to see if anything nefarious took place is worthy of impeachment

Well it matters depending on how he asked it.
For example, if Trump, during a campaign rally obviously jokes out loud and says concerning a political opponent, “Russia, please find Hillary’s 30,0000 emails”, than obviously he is not seriously asking a foreign power to do him favors in trying to win an election.

But now, if he calls a foreign leader up, and suggests in the phone call that they dig up dirt on a political opponent of his, and suggests that it will help him win re-election, and that he can return the favor, or possibly suggest withholding some form of money appropriated to them unless they do it, now that’s different from joking about Hillary’s emails out loud.

It’s hard to know at this point. And I might add if it’s not urgent/a nothing burger Trump should release the transcript so everyone can ltfao at the Dims!

agreed, but she is trying to gather up republican support for impeachment. she is also calling for a whistle blowers full exposure (we know the D's would leak it even in closed session) they think they crafted this out well (with a set up like Christine Blasey Ford) or she is bluffing to appease AOC.

3-D Chess

Trump is bringing attention to how corrupt Biden. Also, not so subtle shot across Biden's bow regarding his frick up son having legal jeopardy

Dems want an investigation and impeachment but they just come across as more unhinged. Any investigation brings a a harsh spotlight to their leading candidate.

Ukraine had passed information about the Biden and Son corruption to the State Department more than once, but the State Department wasn't interested.

I suspect that there are those in Ukraine that didn't appreciate Biden threatening to withhold a billion dollar loan if they didn't fire one of their prosecutors.

This is all because Trump said he would lock Hillary up. Since then the mad vendetta has been to go after Trump till they get him. Their methods defy logic and reason and mostly just want any thing they can find on him.

It is a waste of our nations resources in governing. How sad it is that these emphatic morons have control over the House.

Good. She will regret it if she travels this path.

“Will you walk into my parlour, said a Spider to a Fly;
'Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy.
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I have many pretty things to shew when you get there.
Oh, no, no! said the little Fly; to ask me is in vain:
For who goes up that winding stair shall ne'er come down again.

Yeah it’s obvious Biden had a personal vendetta against that prosecutor going after his son. And he had the US govt backing him up. At the very least he used his position to leverage Ukraine and back off his son. At the most? He did what politicians do all the time. We could start counting the ways...

As for his son being qualified? Well that’s a meh argument. When had Ivanka qualified for any of the govt positions and meetings she sat on before her father became president. Look at the Kennedys. Bushes. McCains.

Meh.

Obama RAN on "world leaders want me" and those world leaders overtly campaigned for him

Voters are still free to vote as they wish.

Ordinarily, I would agree, except that a heresay whistle-blower isn't a valid complaint.

Let's say my boss at work told me his boss was skimming money in his expense reports. If I made a whistle-blower complaint to the company with no evidence, it would be ignored, and likely, both my boss and I would be out of jobs. Him, for sharing with me and not reporting it directly, and me, for going around my boss on my own with zero evidence to challenge upper management. It's stupid.

In this case, people who WERE on the call have stated there is no there, there, and the person making the complaint just has a sandy gash.

Pelosi hints at impeachment over Trump-Ukraine whistleblower complaint

Based on what I've seen in the non propaganda press today Biden could have issues to answer for. So Pelosi, go for it!

The Democrats have one, and only one unifying ethical principle: “its ok when we do it.”

I’m just trying to imagine the utter shite fit these people would be having if Donald, Jr. ended up on the board of directors for a Ukrainian energy company making $85,000 a month and Trump asked that the prosecutor investigating the company be fired.

These assholes think the President of the United States is somehow prohibited from firing people who work for him.

It makes my blood boil

I think next week will be very eye-opening (or ear) when the details come out.

When two State Leaders are having a call, there are literally dozens of people listening in: Interpreters, cabinet members, spy agencies, etc.
I agree it’s odd that only ONE person saw a problem with the call.

But I wouldn’t quite call it ‘hearsay’ since he probably either read a transcript of he call, or was one of many that needed to be in-the-know eventually

Keep in mind there is another get Trump public hearing this Thursday (regarding this whistle blower concoction) with Schiff for brains at the helm. There is no there, there; but there never is, is there? The dems dont have a RR to get another multi-million dollar special council on Trump and this matter going.

Do they have another Christine Blasey Ford all set up in the background? The dems have high powered lawyers on retainer (on our dime after honest Bob wasted 30Million) to impeach/investigate Trump.

Pelosi isn't stupid what is she up to? She may just be building up the frenzy before the Schiff show on the 26th to justify their lawyers? Or they have another set up brewing?

Barr and Durham need to stop this with massive perp walks of the dirty cops and Obama/HRC criminals. It is beyond ridiculous. At the very least dems are scaring their mind numbing base; that the world will end with climate change and people are offing themselves.

I truly hope they try this. Not only has every attempt failed primarily because so many in Congress know there really is no "there" there but every time they try and fail it annoys the frick out of the electorate with the Democrat party as a whole. All but the most biased can see these attempts are not about "justice" but rather this new brand of politics that says "investigate the opposition until you get something on them, regardless of how weak it is".
