Wouldn't that fact just bolster my half-joking claim that Page is an intelligence asset? I'm only repeating what most spygate scholars believe.

This, however, could be Headline Of The Day:

'Paul Manafort will tell the truth,' Trump's legal team said. Minutes later, they took it back

quote:

After Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort agreed to cooperate with prosecutors working for special counsel Robert Mueller, President Donald Trump's legal team said "the President did nothing wrong and Paul Manafort will tell the truth."

Minutes later, they seemed to reconsider. A "corrected" statement removed the bit about Manafort telling the truth.

Never change, Rudy.

I never said the campaign didn't play a role in funding the dossier. I just asked you to provide any evidence that they actually used any of the info from it during the campaign.

Didn't the whole goofiness about peeing on the Russian hookers come out DURING THE CAMPAIGN?

Am I confusing the timelines here?

I already proved they used foreign sources for oppo research. Ergo, they got a “thing of value” from foreigners. Ergo, according to you, they broke the law.

Bass, do you think it was illegal for the Trump campaign to have contracted with the British firm Cambridge Analytica?

What I'm getting at is that the law treats paid work (including oppo research work) different from contributions (such as those that might have come from a foreign government).

Now, the Trumps could get creative and argue that they were paying the GRU for Hillary research...
