That’s for the intel analysts to figure out.

The clients in prevezon were Russian govt officials. That's a pretty damn good connection.

Steele is a Brit. Where did all of the Russian info come from? Steele worked for Fusion. Either he had Russian connections, fusion did, they both did. Your choice.

But for the dossier fusion and Steele are one and the same. He was working for them.

Stop playing dumb. You aren't dumb. You're just too invested.

I think it was probably a cut-out Russian intelligence operation. They use these gray figures that have a certain amount of plausible deniability. But it's obviously ripe for spinning Democratic-Russian ties which'll play well with the base. Hope Mueller's able to eventually get an uncensored report out to the public.

Mueller's possible connection to uranium one makes me nervous. Initially I thought he could be impartial, but I am skeptical.

Steele was MI6 stationed in Moscow so I’m sure he has contacts.

Your implication that he acted as a Russian agent is not based on any known facts. It’s pretty absurd all things considered.

I said fusion has deep Russian ties. You denied that. Steele was working for fusion. Thank you for pointing out another tie between them and Russia.

And your contention that it could not have possibly been a Russian disinformation campaign is also pretty absurd at this point.

No I pointed out Fusion GPS’s work on the Prevezon case. You keep referring to these deep Russian ties but here we are still talking about Prevezon. Regardless, it’s really absurd to argue that other Fusion GPS clients have ties to Russia just by virtue of Fusion GPS work on the Prevezon case.

Under this construct I could hire Fusion GPS tomorrow and then I would have a “direct link” to Russia. It’s absurd.

That’s not what I said. The info needs vetting.

Don't forget you pointed out Steele's ties. He was working for fusion. So they represented Russian government officials and employed someone who has connections in Moscow. And he is the one that worked on the dossier that is at issue. Yet it's absurd to claim they have deep Russian ties? That's some sound logic.

And you seem to be much more interested in vetting now. Which trump ties to russia lead you to believe he colluded?

Steele was an MI6 officer that likely ran British agents in Moscow during his tenure. I’m not sure how you characterize that as having nefarious “deep Russian ties” or whatever it is that you are actually suggesting here.

What are you suggesting actually?

I was pretty clear what I was suggesting. That Fusion has deep Russian ties and Clinton hired them.

What Russian ties does trump have that lead you to believe he was colluding?

"Deep Russian Ties" seems to be doing an awful lot of work here. You're saying that the dossier is less credible because Fusion worked for Prezevon, right?

The dossier has no credibility on its face. I'm saying the Clintons hired a firm with direct connections to Russian government officials to create it.

What evidence do you have of trump connections to and collusion with Russian government. What evidence do you have of the voracity of the dossier? I hope it's compelling and in no way circumstantial, because you sure do seem to require direct physical evidence to say Clinton did something wrong.

But if all you can offer up is the work that Fusion did when hired by BakerHostetler regarding the Prevezon case then were not going to get any further with this than we are now...with a bad theory of Clinton/DNC “collusion” that leads to absurd consequences when brought to any logical extension.

Did Fusion work for Russian government officials? Yes or no?

If yes, When were hey working for them?
When did they work for the Clintons?

Let's take this step by step since you seem to be willfully ignorant.

I'm off to bed. I'll check in in the am. Maybe you will have come to your senses. Good talk.

In a few weeks when more has come to light I wonder if you will remember this exchange.

The only thing puzzling is the mental gymnastics required for dems to continue to bury their heads in the sand. It’s quite amazing.
