Just so you know - every time you do that whole Leftist demagoguery thing where you slur Trump voters, it hardens the resolve of those Trump voters who oppose the deal . Which based on how hysterical Dems are about Trump giving them the deal they begged for, may be the point . You guys don’t want the DACA people, you want the wedge issue. Which is awesome for Trump because it’s a losing issue for Dems. Trump wins either way.

Or, in the alternative, adults have an ability to give and take on most issues. This gloating by people such as OP about the “flip flop” is about as disingenuous as it gets.
Compromises like this one are a good thing. And if the partisan idiots on both sides would stop trying to “win” and actually look at what this bill does, I think everyone can find things in it they would support.

I think most rational republicans, which represent the majority of the party believe in a path to citizenship. I’m just stating that this board is much more right than the typical conservative and yes, if this board represented the party platform it would be deport them all. If you don’t get that then you don’t spend a lot of time on this board.

I think most conservatives will compromise as long as we get something tangible. We are too smart to agree to promises from the goverment. We have gotten screwed too many times to count.

I have no problem with putting a plan in place to give them the opportunity to become citizens. But I want the parents deported. They willingly broke the law, the kids were just a victim along for the ride.

I do not support this. I'd be ok with them staying on some type of visa if they haven't committed any crimes. They should also be ineligible for public assistance and have to file taxes. Otherwise deport.
