Gen. Mark Milley: "We don't take an oath to a king, or queen, or a tyrant or a dictator. And we don't take an oath to a wannabe dictator...We take an oath to the Constitution...and we're willing to die to protect it."

Wonder if he takes an oath to the democratically elected president?

What part of the constitution allows the JSC to subvert presidential command and control?

The oath is to support and defend the Constitution, which he violated, and he was under the jurisdiction of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which he violated. Trump should have gone ballistic on him when he had the chance. Truman fired MacArthur for insubordination for talking to US individuals during Korea, Trump damn sure should have gone scorched earth on that worthless loser for what he did.

Was Trump still the acting president on Jan 6? I guess Biden hadnt technically taken over yet.

The better question is, when are "they" not talking about Trump?

What the oath he took says:
quote:
and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me

Maybe Milley should read the Constitution.

I took an oath to China
Fixed it for him

Milley is a GIANT pussy. Hold a gun to his head and you could get him to do anything.

more like he’ll send an enlisted man to die in order to protect it

Did he take an Oath to protect the southern border?
Or Ukraine sovereignty?

He's a giant POS. Should be in jail.

i havent heard the speech, but i can almost guarantee you that he is referring to Trump. Milley is all-in on cashing in the popularity he gained with his anti-Trump pandering to the left wing establishment he has been working on. that's his entire gameplan. he is the poster boy for leftist politically compromised yes-men that we have parading around wearing three and four stars these days.

that’s going to rustle some jimmies here

i get what you're saying, but you are quoting the oath of enlistment. the officer's oath doesn't have that portion.
