Understandable, some people don't feel comfortable wielding a gun.
A better question to get her to weigh in on, would she have felt safer during the shooting had she known there were 4 or 5 teachers present who were armed and were either ex-military/ex-police or well trained in firearms.

Well, they're doing an extra job function that she doesn't want to do so why shouldn't those teachers who do that extra job function get some money for doing it?

She would still say no using the excuse that those 4 or 5 teachers will end up shooting and wounding or killing a fellow teacher or some students.
She's a proggie who wants no guns on campus not more guns even if those guns saved her life or the lives of students.
