The democrats underperformed in the governor races

They did worse in the senate than most people predicted

They underperformed by only gaining 7 states. Listen to yourself. You're claiming the lack of crushing defeat as a win.

The Senate was always an issue with 22 blue seats up and only 9 red. The map never favored Dems.

Tell that to the Dems in the senate the next time a SC vacancy comes open. Or how about when the senate doesn't have enough votes to keep Trump from appointing his judicial nominees. Or when there are not enough Dems needed to carry out impeachment proceedings from the house.

You must be new at this game or incredibly stupid with your politically comprehensions.

Actually it's you that's quite ignorant.

You had a majority already. Without a supermajority again you have gained nothing. You still hold a simple majority.

Everything you listed was true regardless. The thing which did not change is the ability to pass legislation without any Democrats.

It's quite humorous watching you all circle jerk each other despite being wrong. You seem to think the echo chamber this board provides validated you. It does not.

Nah, I’m just laughing at your ridiculous, yet predictable, generalizations of Republicans.
You know, the one where we are all apparently racist, fascist, mysoginists who hate gays. It’s way overplayed.

Indeed do please quote where I used any of those terms save fascist.

The irony of you whining about generalizations is fairly ironic though. The left are called racist, mobs, sjws, socialists, communists, cucks, snowflakes, etc.

This went how I thought it would go.

The house, which represents mob rule by majority and was by far more campaigned for and funded by the dems, went Dem. They'll use it to grandstand for the next two years like lunatics.

The Senate stayed republican, and seeing as 90% of my support for Trump was specifically for federal judges and USSC, keeping the senate for RBG possible replacement was a must.

Statewide: I think unanimous jury is a huge mistake, I'm not happy about Parish welfare, and while I expected it, I'm never happy when an increase in taxes happens.

Also, maybe I read the amendment wrong, but diverting transportation and road funds to state police traffic stops is weird to me.

You need to spend time researching history, inclusive of Hitler and Mussolini, to better understand that your use of fascist and facism are inaccurate as pertains to application of the term to Republicans, conservatives and your President.

Trump had to put some of these governors and senators on his back and drag them to a win.. I'd say the takeaway here is that the Republicans better start looking at the young players on the bench, because the ho-hum old guard won't be enough to inspire voters in 2 years - even with House Dems making complete asses of themselves before then

Thanks to Harry Reid, that is demonstrably not true. But rage on in your pussy hat, by all means.

As a Floridian, I am temporarily relieved. Dodged a massive bullet with Gillum. Got rid of Nelson.

I can’t help but notice that I just don’t have a heart for my fellow Americans anymore though. I genuinely have no use for the left, including my own family members. It’s not “just politics” anymore.
