Those young men who walked today apparently don’t hold his lack of military service against him.

Not sure how it’s your place to do so.

I voted for Bill Clinton too in 1996.

Didn't vote for Trump in 2016.

Thanks to people like you, I'm voting Trump in 2020.

As a Progressive, it is his place and right to speak on behalf of everyone, including minorities.

It is also upon you to look past the fact that he voted for Bill Clinton, as well as his wife, then Obama, none of which served anything but themselves with other people's money.

Those are the things he admires.

I hated voting for Trump in 2016, I wish I was in a swing state to vote 5 times for him in 2020.

Explains why you are so butthurt. You know, after he put his foot up your arse on November 8, 2016.

Not everybody. My friends and I viewed it as:

(1) An adventure and we truly wanted to experience what it felt like.

(2) There were no scholarships for college then and it was virtually impossible to go with out the GI bill so for tons of kids that was a factor.

(3) It was Vietnam and a chance or the cotton mill and none.

I joined with two other guys off my high schools sports teams.

One got embassy guard duty in South America, one was selected for OCS and made a 2nd Looie platoon leader and was paralyzed below the waist which was worse than death for a 19/20 Y.O. Two other friends off the HS BB team were drafted when they didn't go off to college and both were killed in the same fight the first month after deployment and I didn't get a scratch. Nor did my two best friends who I met at basic and we volunteered to deploy immediately. So that's two of seven who I knew personally that died. And the guy who was ruined for life. One guy was a freaking basket case and wound up killing 2 people. It was all so hit and miss random. So there you go.

I highly respect military service. So it’s a good thing, yes.

But I don’t think shaking hands is an impressive accomplishment to be publicly touted, when the same person has publicly shown in the past he doesn’t respect military service all that much.

Hillary wouldn’t have made it past 50cadets before going into a head spinning swoon as secret service officers whom she had earlier cursed out for something trivial lurched to catch her.
