The entire political system is a joke. Every politician is a piece of trash interested in advancing themselves. Anyone who wastes their time voting these bastards in should be ashamed.

Yes, I do.
Simply no need to discriminate against corporations.

Why are you so exclusionary and bigoted?
Diversity is our strength.

I’m no expert on campaign finance law, but I’m pretty sure your claim is laughably wrong.

:kige:

People vote, not corporations or unions

I am extremely fiscally conservative - modern folks calling themselves Republicans seem to forget this simple mantra

I am for limited government but do believe government offers checks and balances to a corporate monarchy. If I wanted corporate feudalism I would take a boat back to Europe.

Free trade is good
Corporate monarchy is not free trade

You can put lipstick on that pig, but it is still a pig.

The loophole is super PACs can't donate directly to candidates but have unlimited expenditures on vocally supporting a candidate. I can raise a trillion dollars and call my SuperPac constitutional conservatives of America and then run a billion commercials supporting a candidate by saying this ad is brought to you by Constitutional conservatives of America.

Try to keep up.

You have some real Big Brother views if you actually believe this.

Last thing large corporate monopolies want is diversity. They want control and they want it complete and absolute. Big corporations today are like the Catholic Church before Martin Luther. Neither were in the best interest of the human race as a whole.

That’s fascinating but you didn’t state a single fact about union spending. Have you ever looked at Open Secrets? It doesn’t sound like it.

I understand that, Mensa. He claimed that corporations have been given rights individuals don’t have. Can an individual have unlimited expenditures on vocally supporting a candidate? Yes or no.

Depending on the race, individuals are generally limited to 1,000 to 3,000 per cycle

The money spent by out of state and out of country corporations to buy elections is shameful for a country founded on prevention of such abuse.

Mob money to unions is just as dirty as mob money to Trump.

Joe Kennedy made his fortune bootlegging for the Irish and Italian mobs in prohibition. His son got the presidency but not like he got there clean.

Both sides are dirty, need to clean house on both and the way to do this is get hidden money out of elections. It is like greenmailers calling themselves "activist investors" while they pick the bones clean and ship the jobs overseas, then pocket the cash for themselves with little or no thought to the damage to the US economy long term.

Hard money no. Soft money is open to any entity for the most part.

Yes

I am also old enough to remember the mob infiltrating the unions and wrecking them.

Turn of the last century and company towns meant unions were needed to fight back. Not sure about today as they diverted from their roots.

Rednecks came from the wars with miners in WVA and their battles with paid corporate thugs. Red neckerchiefs was how they knew not to shoot other folks in the woods. Battle of Blair Mountain was the biggest conflict of it time since the end of the Civil War. I know kids today have no idea this stuff happened but forgetting things is the best way to have them repeat.
