If this doesn't tell you that it was a planned operation nothing will. The people behind this destruction are the sickest of the sick.

I would assume so. Perhaps Oregon’s Fire Marshal is simply acting as an unofficial spokesman for the various firefighting teams since they all came from differing localities?
Exactly
A "safety check" is very ambiguous.
I wouldn't hang my hat on his/her statement.

I certainly think it is safe to assume that the Oregon Fire Marshal is going to provide cover for his fellow bureaucrats in California.
As I indicated above, the shift in messaging is telling.
It seems to be a classic case of “That’s Not Happening and It’s Good That It Is!”

We're watching Your Honor. I'll reply later maybe.

I believe the long drive would be a good reason to preliminary inspection as well.
For emissions?

Quote all of my post next time.
Why?

Politics is playing out. Yes, the stupid lbgtq crap and DEI crap in the LAFD is pathetic... but there are other normal people at risk out there. I'm not playing the DEI bullshite. That's been done the last several days. We know it's California bullshite.
has nothing to do with my point.
You must want to have it your way like this is Burger King, but…

Welcome to the Poli Board. Full of conspiracy theories and people who work harder at posting on TD instead of their actual jobs.

Yeah, I pointed out the one person downvoting rather than posting. I think I said in one of my posts to reply instead of downvoting.
How concerned are you now about that? I was really concerned. Should I be more concerned? I don't know if I should be concerned or not be concerned.
I'm just concerned... are you as concerned as much as I am concerned?
You want to keep bringing up this stupid stuff when you're wrong to begin with?
Up to you. I'm still up for some more bullshite bickering.

Looking at all of your down votes I’d say most disagree with you. It’s ok to have a different opinion but you shouldn’t be a dick about it when most disagree with your take

I don't really understand why this topic has gotten out of hand
These fire trucks are constantly being maintained by their local fire departments.
The state of California should not have stopped one single truck for any reason.
Especially emissions/smog. Trucks lacking california smog requirements is the last of California's worries right now.
And stopping them for anything else at all is ridiculous.
