Just add “cult” to this and you would have nailed all of the trite cliches. Do better.

Se my last comment. Let's try this once more. You just proved in 1 sentence that they were not the same policy. "Biden expanded".

You are catching on pretty well now! in 2 threads!

I got a good one for you Bonds..

The Populist Propagandist speaks.
quote:

The far right of the populist movement — we’re going get ahead of that and say the same thing about the tax cuts. There has to be no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security. Guess what that’s gonna do? You get DOGE and OMB to do cuts in year one — not this Kevin McCarthy bullshite where you have $2 trillion of cuts, but they’re all in year nine and ten, so they never materialize. Real cuts.

Now, of the four and half trillion dollars in revenue we get, how much is from corporate taxes? Only $500 billion. Since 2008, $200 billion has gone into stock repurchases. If that had gone into plants and equipment, think what that would have done for the country. I’m for a dramatic increase in corporate taxes. We have to increase taxes on the wealthy. For getting our guys’ taxes cut, we’ve got to cut spending, which they’re gonna resist.

Right yet again... They're coming after the rich.

So the answer is no.

No. The answer wasn’t no. It was not by itself. If you can only do binary answers to questions, don’t pretend you’re having a discussion. Reducing complex discussions to “yes” or “no” is what children do. Reducing to “you’re with me or against me” to every single action one takes is as well.

So this all checks out. Grow up.

I’ll be just fine. You are showing the board your true colors again. You think the elite are keeping you down. There is a movement out there for people who think the elite are keeping them down. What is that movement called?????

that is what you’re hoping for. Calling yourself right is very premature. Calling yourself a populist would be extremely accurate.

Don't you folk me lol

The debt is obviously to you and me not a issue with DC as no one ran against it in the Presidential campaign. So no DJT has not made it a issue. As to the people who voted him in Maga or not I don't know the percentage. Would be interesting to see the numbers.

I personally feel those who talk about it and try to hold spending down are folks to be applauded more often than not.

Same thing in this context.

Hopefully this group continues to fight back on the Obama/Trump/Biden spending spree and neuters his pen.
