Why are you ignoring the fact that these tariffs Canada put on us were not part of the deal Trump struck with them in 2020?

The deal allowed for Canada to tariff us on some things.

Major countries from which Canada imported goods included the United States, China, Mexico, Germany, and Japan, with specific tariff data available for these imports.
tsk

So why are countries dropping their tariffs and working out trade deals

Don't forget the unofficial President. He gets upset when he isn't mentioned.

I don't know how many people actually listened to that interview, but there was no "knee bending" in that.

You are a moron
He's agreeing with you and that prompts you to call him a moron?

Was this the guy who was going to shut off electricity to the yankee states?
If he is, and is bending the knee, Trump should make the little worm announce it in Washington. In a joint news conference.
Dude thought he had a leg to stand on but didnt.

Yep.
It would benefit these guys to actually learn a bit about trade with Canada instead of listening to influencers.

Canada has a blanket 35% tariff on imports which can be changed or adapted with trade agreements like the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement Trump signed.
quote:
Under the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA), 98 per cent of goods entering Canada from the U.S. have no tariffs – or at least, they didn't before the trade war.
quote:.
Trump has claimed Canada is "ripping [the U.S.] off" by putting tariffs of over 200 per cent on dairy products.
But those tariffs only kick in after the U.S. surpasses the quantity it's permitted to sell in Canada tariff-free – a number negotiated by the Trump administration in 2018 as part of CUSMA
Trump is flat out lying to these baws about his trade agreement.

I mean... excluding oil, the US has a trade surplus with Canada since 2008.

You being ignorant is not a me problem. You don’t address the facts. You lie, get called out, then tell everyone how smart you are.

The problem is they never learn, because its always "someone elses fault."
