If we have one party, how did we end up with a President impeached twice? You uniparty people are nuttier than the Q and chicken head lizard people folks.

We are living under a one-party system as of Jan. 6th, in my view. "Conservative" and "Republican" will be dirty words moving forward, forever tied to the chaos at the Capitol, staged or not. The Democrats have the media, big tech, growing legions of minority voters, and all the "Karens" firmly in their corner, now. The GOP will be saddled with the ugly incident on the 6th from here on out. It's said "perception is reality," and all I see on TV is what seditious, white supremacists the Right are. Even without voter fraud, the GOP would face an intimidating uphill climb.

DO we practically have a one party system now? How can you have democracy when the media belongs to one party and opponents are silenced, threatened to be fired, censored or suppressed?

Yes, since the elctions are not legit. The politicians don't answer to the people, only the those in charge of counting the votes(aka deep state). So what we are witnessing is one party in complete control and the second party will be reduced to controlled opposition.

We have had a one party system for decades now. The illusion of two parties with different views is just that. An illusion. It’s about power and the people who have it aren’t elected officials.

We have had a plutocracy for a long time. It's cool common folks on the right are starting to realize that though.

This is from the 1920's

How does that dispel the idea of a uniparty?

If anything the establishments reaction to a non establishment President suggests a uniparty.

What's frightening we have a SCOTUS and Congress that will do zero about media censorship.

So its here to stay and nothing will be done.

LOL.

It has been a Uniparty for decades.

That's why I always laughed at Lefties that crapped on "Neo Cons" and "RINO"s. Those were people that infiltrated the supposed "opposition".

Think of DC like the WWE. It is all for show. While we fight over whatever they tell us to fight over, they take our money and funnel it back to themselves.

Yes. I'm not even a Trump supporter, but I still agree with this.

yes.

There is no "uniparty," however both parties are happily dependent on the Corporate Donor Class to fund campaigns, and provide sweet executive or lobbying jobs when they leave office, which means they serve their interests. That really culminated with Bill Clinton and his cadre, the "Watergate Babies" who shifted Democrat focus from backing Labor Unions and fighting Corporate power and Monopolies, which had long defined the Democratic Party, to embracing Corporate Power and focusing on liberalizing society (they were mostly College kids, like Republicans, so the populist economics wasn't part of their mind set).

What that has left to differentiate the two is "the culture wars," which splits the middle-class of the country roughly down the middle into "Liberals" and "Conservatives." It's a sham... if Roe vs. Wade were overturned what would single-issue voters have to bother with? That's why it is the banana eternally held in front of the treadmill. There were actually Conservative writers freaking out about here and there when RBG died. It also has an insincere origin, since the Religious Right turned to a Pro-Life message in the late '70s after its initial attempts to get Ronald Reagan the nomination failed to inspire non-political Evangelicals... and the motivating factor was actually Bob Jones University being made to racially integrate it's student body.

And here we are...
