So, just let the Fentanyl and other drugs flow into the country unabated? Hmmm....

Then how does our country abate it? If Maduro is the problem, do something about it. Don't fly jets around the Caribbean. And do we really know what Trump and his administration are going to do? What about Mexico?

I bet you laughed at Nancy Reagan’s “ just say no to drugs” campaign.

Its demand driving the industry. When you have a multi billion dollar industry, you will continually have suppliers regardless of risk.

It’s like you have no concept of basic economics. What happens when the item is scarce? What would happen to the “market”?

Well we could legalize drugs and then let the state governments sort it out. I mean if we are going to lose it anyway, legitimize it.

We should just sit back and do nothing about it according to him.

Start attacking demand.

What is an easy way to “attack demand”? Once again what happens to an item when supply is reduced?

It’s a bit difficult to tackle the demand side when the supply side is operating with impunity and flooding our country with this poison.

Would have happened regardless of where the drugs come from.

Terrible reasoning. Same reasoning Democrats use for their bullshite. "If we can save one life."

Drugs will always be a huge part of society b because of our demand.

I don't care if it really does any good and if all we're doing is 'killing them back' I'm happy we're doing it

I fully support using chemical weapons against the cartels and to torture cartel members for information or just to send a message

Do we really understand the extent and complexity of the "drug business"? To what degree is the business operating under the consent of the state? Mexico, Columbia, Venezuela? How about explaining this to the American people. Again, we are at about five speedboats and a submarine right now. Embarrassingly, we didn't get two of the submariners so we have had to hustle them back to their home country to hide that mess before the democrats made them heroes. Trump has three plus years left. Are we going to continue to pop twenty speedboats and submarines a year?

Higher regulations on possession.

You'll never put a permanent dent in supply because synthetics can be made anywhere.
