There are several on this very board who experience these very problems. They want so bad to be on the 'right' side but they are too emotionally weak to know what the right side actually is.
The vax issues that are coming up recently have stymied them yugely because they were busy pushing mandates, now they're getting blasted.

This is more so true on the O-T. Many there are still demanding they were right and refuse to apologize or admit to how disastrously wrong they were.

It seems that the MSM is ratcheting up the hysteria. The media gets it's talking point from the bleeding heart progressives running the Democrat party.
This has been happening for a long time, but nobody has ever pusd back. President Trump is exacerbating the situation by pushing back and trolling the left at every turn. Frankly, they deserve it ,and I think Trump is trying to get them to show themselves as the complicit idiots that they are.
I can't help but think that the degree of hysteria from the media is due, in no small part, to the fear of what DOGE is going to find.
DOGE is the tip of the spear. The FBI and DOJ are going to follow. I can't explain the level of resistance any other way - they are afraid of exposure. We'll see.

Mentally ill and mentally unstable people were given a blame vacuum in Trump that they could focus all their inner feelings of inadequacy and angry upon so that they could avoid being accountable and dealing with their position.
Overnight they could all band together and point to Trump being out there ruining their lives as the reason for their predicament and never have to own up to the fact they were unhappy or not where they wanted to be because of their own actions.
