Like Hunter said in that interview, If it weren't for his last name, no one give a shite about him.

The thing about that interview is just how calmly and casually he admitted it to Amy Robach. As if selling access to your father, the Vice President, was the most natural thing in the world, everybody does it.

Why would you alert everyone though?

Just get them, release them! Quit talking about it!

I really wish a reputable investigative reporter would do this.

Yeah, I feel like Posobiec types always get our hopes up and it's nothing but a tease.

Why would he need to "pick up" emails? shite, have your IT people set up a private FTP on your server or just create a free email account (yahoo, gmail, etc), share the password then load the data into the Drafts folder.

The more instances the data has been “touched” digitally the more opportunity for those trying to kill the story to say it has been modified/falsified in some manner. Evidence 101, never let the data out of you physical possession.

I think at this point they are trying to keep as much of it offline as possible.

I’m sure the Monday morning network news cycle will be all over the trove of documents released.

Trump knowing what is in those emails quite possibly is going to set up Biden in the next debate. We will get a lot more emails etc after the debate.

Because malicious actors could interdict the transfer or deny access. Offline copy preserves the ability to utilize even if a 0 day exploit brings the entire net down.

Firing up a VPN then shooting the data to an FTP server is one less of a "touch" than copying it to a thumb drive then from that drive to another computer. It's also a LOOOOOOOOOOOT safer to quietly do it rather than announce to the world you're going to have those copies on you.

Not with a half-competent IT staff and not if no one knows it's happening (read: don't broadcast it before you do it).

That latter part is what makes me wonder that this isn't some sort of trap or decoy.

I don't disagree but for transportation purposes it's a lot less secure when you're announcing on Twitter when and where you are doing it.

Y'all are fricking insane man. This is a pro-Trump disinfo campaign the same as the Democrats Ukraine madness. The Trump side is just playing it 1000x more sloppily and with 0 mainstream media complicity.
