Projection: Adrian Dickey (R-IA) defeats Mary Stewart (D) in Iowa’s 41st State Senate District, holding the seat vacated by now U.S. Rep. @MillerMeeks for the @IowaGOP.
Tonight’s special election win for the @GOP is likely the first of many to come in the Biden era.

@RepMMM won her previous seat in the Iowa State Senate by 3.6% in 2018, and the
@IowaDemocrats were hoping that low in-person voting today due to a snowstorm would benefit them.

The complete collapse of @TheDemocrats controlling state legislatures across the country is quickly going to haunt them. Over the next year, states will pass new congressional maps for redistricting (as done every ten years, when a new census is complete).

If you believe this board, no one is going to ever turn out to vote for Republicans again.

Aren't you being overly dramatic. I have seen many that will continue to vote GOP.

I’ll continue to vote the lesser of two evils even if my vote counts 3/4s. The lesser of two evils is almost always GOP.

The only Democrat I would consider voting for would be Tulsi. And that would depend on who she were running against.

Republicans did well, and better than expected, down-ballot in November. So much so that the DNC was pissed especially about the Defund the Police costing them votes. Hard for me to believe they checked the Blue box at the top and then went down-ballot Red.

Primary, Mitch, Lindsay G, Cassidy, Kemp, Reffensberger, etc.
Recall petitions are needed for all of them, and a whole lot more. I do not understand why recall petitions have not been started.
