Thomas is an unofficial DSA candidate. She hasn't joined the DSA but agrees with all of their policy positions. Jim Priest is the establishment Democrat candidate.

Didn’t even know there were 12k dems in Oklahoma

21k is 18%? They only expect about 120k to vote in the D primary for US Senate?

2. Black residents make up approximately 7.8% to 7.9% of Oklahoma's total population, totaling around 290,000 to 325,000 individuals depending on recent estimates.
Roughly 7.8% of the state population identifies as Black alone.
Top Counties: Oklahoma County (home to Oklahoma City) and Tulsa County hold the largest Black populations and highest percentages in the state. Comanche County also features a high concentration (around 17.6%).

Not just that, but Oklahoma was very Democrat back in the day and a lot of gray hairs still stick with their Democrat registration. A lot of old time Yellow Dog Democrats here in rural SE Oklahoma that are against welfare, grannies, taxes ad all that but are registered Democrat but vote Republican in the general.

Obama brought this DSA stuff to the Democrats.
He retired every moderate blue dog and yellow dog Democrat during his tenure and marched the party this direction.
So yes, if you vote Democrat, you are a supporter of Communism.

She did win and she is quite something to behold.
Yes, Faux News but it is a few minutes of sheer insanity. She even has the AOC voices for location bit down pat.
A tri-racial nurse. That's new.
Bonus

I mean she isn't going to win...but yes, that's the direction of the Dem party....sickening

Agreed on that but they are starting to win Dem primaries in Red states and that in itself is concerning.

No chance. Oklahoma is one of the reddest of red states.
We have 77 counties. The Pub candidate for president has not lost a single county in something like the past 6 presidential election cycles.
In the primary, she got 76K votes. She got 80K votes in the Dem runoff.
Kevin Hern, her Pub opponent, got 270K votes in the Pub primary. There was no runoff on the Pub side.

Think DSA isn't the political LW juggernaut the media tries to spin, polling vs actual wins shows it's a tossup with mostly DSA candidates losing across the board.
