He doesn't believe in the rule of law, he believes himself to be above the law, and he's more establishment than anyone in that state not named Sessions.

He is constantly running for office (no different than the establishment types he hates), he has repeatedly lied about taking a salary from his 'Foundation for Moral Law' and has been yanked out of office twice by republican-dominated panels.

There's really no need to even discuss sexual allegations.

Good luck...not a single damn one of them can name one single policy, promise, agenda, just anything they liked Hillary was coughing up during her grueling campaign.

Haha I literally quoted Doug Jones and proved you wrong moron, so learn to read.

And look, life will go on when Roy Moore wins. Will I be disappointed? Sure, but there are plenty of things in life to be happy about and trust me my happiness does not hinge on whether or not Doug Jones. Have a good night sir.

Doesn’t seem like you are happy. You are in every single Roy Moore thread. And I get it. If I were a homosexual man; I wouldn’t want Roy Moore in Congress either.

But you, like your brethren, Toddy, are in every thread calling him a child molester, lying about his religious views, and straight up bashing the guy.

I’d respect you a whole lot more if you were just to say, “I don’t like Roy Moore because of his views on the gay community.” Rather than, going into your histrionic charade like a woman with all of the theatrics that come along with it.

Good post. I don't agree with any of Jones' positions, but this is what the Dems should have focused on, instead of constantly hammering him on the allegations.

Well you started off with a lie, we don't register party affiliation in Alabama

It really doesn't, Alabama loves career politicians and will overwhelmingly vote for the one with an R next to his name next Tuesday, no matter what. All you have to do in Alabama is say you're "pro life" and mention gawd a lot and we will elect you 20+ times, it's marvelous.

You voted for Roy Moore in the run off, there is no point.

Same.
I have been really disappointed with the ads focusing on the allegations, rather than on moores history in public service, his shady charity, and his refusal to debate jones.

Live and learn. If jknes doesnt win, Hopefully we can learn from our mistakes and build on this for 2020.

This is why I'm voting Doug Jones, I wish it would matter, but I want Roy to crawl back into the hole he came out of and never come back, and voting for Doug Jones is the only way I know how to.

It's your call: it's a choice between a true moderate, a man of decent character and a long record of public service to the people of Alabama, vs. a religious nut, a buffoon who will embarrass the state and discourage businesses locating to the state, an incompetent oaf, and a man widely suspected of pedophilia.

I think the biggest reason to vote against Moore is that he was fired twice from government position for failure to perform his job by refusal of removing the ten commandments monument and his decision to promote his personal religious beliefs over established law.

Is this the same approach that Democrats take with Immigration? Ignore the laws, just do what you believe to be right?

Why would I condemn someone for wanting the Ten Commandments monument to remain?

Of all the things in this world to hate, a monument with a list of ten reasonable commands shouldn't be one of them

I think the approach to the sanctuary cities is flawed. If that governmental official is not obeying the law, they specifically are the ones who should be punished. Taking away the funding of the entire city is asinine. There are many people in that city who may not hold the same belief as that elected official and shouldn't be punished. The punishment should be focused on the specific individuals who are breaking the law.

Regarding the Ten Commandments, I totally agree there are bigger fish to fry. I would prefer not to have as close a marriage of the government to the Christian religions (or any religion for that matter). But the biggest issue with this is that Moore was ordered to remove this though a valid law. He decided he was above the law and didn't have to comply.

Alabama will be able to easily vote Jones out and replace him with a Republican.
Yeah, in 6 short years of him voting lockstep with Schumer and Pelosi.

Not a fricking chance dipship.

You're calling me a dipshit, yet you're so fricking stupid that you don't know that the seat will be up again in two years.

Seriously...go grow some fricking brain cells before you start calling anyone a dipshit. Are you so stupid that you don't even know what a special election is?

Most people don’t care. If he has (R) by his name you vote for him.

Is that all that matters in Alabama? If not vote for Lee Busby

Because it would be one more vote for the good guys in the 100 seat Senate and things are close there right now on several issues. That is why you should vote for Doug Jones.
