Okay cool I’m going to disobey unjust laws and pointless mandates so people don’t think I’m racist

I don’t think this is saying what they want it to say.

It implies that minorities are undisciplined little shits who are incapable of doing what is asked of them. But I thought they dindu nuffin wrong.

I assume these people don't realize how utterly racist this is.

Basically saying non-whites are totally incapable of controlling themselves and being respectful.

Yup...saw Crowder feature this little tool today. It's such pathetic, weak behavior.

And let's be blunt...even IF I believed ANY of this crap (which I don't) what kind of a person signs off on their own destruction like this? The rush that white people, and specifically weak white men have to debase themselves is astonishing.

Finally, it's just blatant racism to assume that only white people can do these things. It's that bigotry of low expectationsand it ain't all that soft any more.

Exactly. The "soft bigotry of low expectations" as Rush would say.

Listening to these people build their strawman arguments in an attempt to tie everything to the "white supremacy" boogeyman makes me want to smash a bottle over my own head...

Nothing like a fig white dude with a college degree, in a position of authority, telling us that the way he got that very position was by utilizing white supremacy techniques to learn shite.

That hurt my head to type.

Josh Thompson, a gay man, teaches at Blacksburg High School in Blacksburg, Va., a state that until the Supreme Court’s June 15 decision had no employment discrimination protections for LGBTQ workers. He told Education Week in January that being out at school lets his LGBTQ students know they’re not alone. —Parker Michels-Boyce for Education Week/File

He's locked his Twitter but some of his tweets have been archived:
quote:

I consider myself a damn good educator. I love teaching. It’s my life’s work.

And I’m tired. I’m worn out. I’m mentally, emotionally, and physically drained. The teacher I am now is not the teacher I’ve known myself to be, and yet I know that I can’t compare the two.

His manifesto:
Josh Thompson, a high school English teacher in Blacksburg, Virginia, envisions an education system that actively advocates for social and racial justice.
quote:

White supremacy is this slippery thing that likes to hide. It’s resilient, cloaks itself and doesn’t want to have a light shone upon it. One of the biggest challenges is constantly having to deal with that, because living in a white supremacist society drains people of color of their energy. And we need more white people stepping up and pushing back against it or we are going to lose more people of color burning out and leaving teaching.

His Twitter background image:

How he describes himself on Twitter:
quote:

English edu. Reader. Writer. Laugher. #DisruptTexts supporter. Wearer of cardigans. I believe in children. Teaching is political. He/him.

Same here. Virginia is chock full of these sorts, especially in places where our brave Confederate heroes are laid to rest (lexington, Virginia).

Ah yes, add that to being on time, math, clocks, English to the list of this bigotry. There are plenty more I’ve heard
