Are y’all unaware that insurance is a significant problem and that Qatar doesn’t want to halt production?

The Gulf Coast refineries are set up to process heavy, sour crude like the Venezuelan oil. They have the capacity to ramp up and start producing more product like diesel and jet fuel.
China is in a world of shite with no access to middle east oil and previously discounted Venezuelan oil. Tariffs, higher oil prices, and limited supply is going to cause huge problems for China. Trump is reestablishing US dollar as world currency and American dominance regarding world affairs.
