The markets were already overbought in 2024. Then they took off after the election. So by the time Trump took office, they were pricey, poised for perfection. New Yorker tariff conniptions drove things from overbought to oversold.
At this stage the overreaction is probably behind us. The S&P had popped ahead of where it was the day prior to inauguration. Both the DJIA and S&P are up vs election day and they appear poised for a rally. If you had cash, and bought the April dips, you should be in good shape.
