US SHOWS NUCLEAR SUB PRESENCE IN GIBRALTAR AFTER IRAN PEACE REJECTION
The Pentagon confirmed a U.S. Navy nuclear-armed Ohio-class submarine has docked in Gibraltar, a rare disclosure of a “boomer” deployment.
The Navy said the visit underscores U.S. capability and NATO commitment, noting the submarine is part of the nuclear triad’s most survivable strike force. The vessel’s identity was not disclosed.
The announcement comes shortly after President Donald Trump rejected Iran’s latest ceasefire proposal as “totally unacceptable,” and ahead of his planned meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping this week.

It would not surprise me that they are intentionally goading him into action. It would also not surprise me if certain democrats were behind it.

at this point it appears that Iran wants to be attacked because they want it to start a bigger war and they think this is the kick-off point
or
they are reading too much into the MSN/Dem talking points that trump has "lost" the war and they believe it to be true. i also wouldn't be surprised either if the Obama side is talking to Iran and pushing them this way as well, hoping that a war come mid-terms helps the Dem party, ant the expense of Iran.....
