My guess is we open the strait after mines are cleared and allow any traffic not related to Iran through. The point of blockade besides cutting off Irans trade and source of money is to show everyone that Irans threats are now empty ones. They can’t close the strait, and they no longer have the ability to fire on ships. If they did they’d be firing on our Navy to break the blockade
