One must ask WHY is Iran so worried about Hezbollah that they're willing to ensure their own destruction over them?

I think that if shite goes way south for the IRGC that is where they will look to take their roadshow too. There are already Hezbollah cabinet members in the Lebanese government and the IRGC would probably try to move their caliphate to Lebanon after a violent overthrow with Hezbollah's help.

Israel wiping out Hezbollah removes that potential safe haven for them. The massive strike yesterday was said to have thwarted a major Hezbollah takeover attempt of the Lebanese government.

For the Trump administration to understand: The Strait of Hormuz is NOT OPEN. The UAE does not and will NEVER accept the Islamic regime in Iran imposing CONDITIONS on access. The UAE is not Britain or the EU. It does not accept any terrorist actor restricting freedom of navigation. As for Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia negotiating to keep the regime afloat, understand this: no state has a legitimate right to decide who may pass and under what terms. That is international law, not a bargaining chip.

Shame on United Kingdom, NATO, European Union, and anyone who tolerates this regime’s terrorism and piracy.

If members of the IRGC are in Lebanon's political arena that does not give Iran the right to:

Extend to a military occupation of a sovereign nation, and

Iran has no business dictating to a sovereign nation how it will run its affairs

Who is the Imperialistic Dog in this drama? It darn sure isn't Gulf States/Israel/USA and for those who believe otherwise - makes me sad that the obvious goes unrecognized

I have been reliably told this is all Israel's fault.

Not Pakistan that just today had their defense minister say Israel must be destroyed and harbored Bin Laden.

Not Iran who hasn't done anything to follow the ceasefire.

Despite not only the entire US government stating Lebanon was not part of the deal.

Despite LEBANON stating they aren't part of the deal.

Comical. It's crazy how many countries Israel can trick, even the ones that hate them (sarcasm font)

This is the best 5 minutes and 50 seconds I have spent in quite a long time. I encourage anyone and everyone to watch.

The amazing thing is that ALL OF IT has been in plain sight for a very long time, yet very few people have seen it or are seeing it.

It's the genius of Trump. He intentionally creates a bombastic, almost clownish facade that purposely obscures his exquisite grasp and attainment of strategic goals.

Most people fall into Trump's trap--but not this British commentator. He lays bare exactly what America's geopolitical strategy is, but the thing is--it's always been bare and always been obvious and always been in plain sight.

You just had to see past the deception plan.

quote:

A BRITISH NEWS HOST JUST EXPLAINED TRUMP’S STRATEGY BETTER THAN ANYONE IN AMERICAN MEDIA — AND HE’S TERRIFIED OF WHAT IT MEANS FOR EUROPE

GB News’ Alex Armstrong laid out the geopolitical map that American media refuses to draw: this war isn’t about toppling Iran. It’s about reshaping the global order — and America is winning on every front.

Start with oil. The Strait of Hormuz carries 45% of China’s oil supply. Trump effectively captured Venezuela’s oil supply in January. As Armstrong put it: “Look who’s got the upper hand all of a sudden. America is now controlling the vast swathes of oil that China needs.” China is in the middle of a tariff negotiation with Trump — and suddenly its entire energy supply depends on American goodwill.

Then Europe. With Russian energy off the table and domestic energy hollowed out by the “leftist obsession with net zero,” Europe is becoming wholly dependent on American oil and gas. Armstrong: “They will dictate terms and use energy as leverage, not just economically, but geopolitically too.”

Armstrong connected the dots to what the Pentagon calls Greater North America — Greenland through the Panama Canal, the entire Western Hemisphere secured as a self-sufficient American economic and security zone. “No more global policing, no more endless foreign commitments, just a fortified, resource-rich power base that others have no choice but to rely on. That is the new America.”

The most striking part was his warning for Britain: “We have no energy security. We import around 60% of our food. We have no major industry. Our military is decimated.” He described Britain heading toward a dark age not seen in over 1,000 years as America withdraws from its traditional role.

When a foreign ally’s own news anchors are publicly acknowledging that Trump’s strategy is working — even as it leaves them behind — that tells you everything about who has the leverage.

The rest of the world sees what American media won’t admit: Trump isn’t starting chaos. He’s building a fortress.

Trump literally said yesterday he was wanting a joint venture with the Iranians to charge to pass through the Hormuz. Unless he was joking earlier he’s changed his tune already.

You may have noticed that Trump rarely says exactly what he means. Less so during wartime. There's usually a reason for that, just like there was a reason he said last summer that we had obliterated Iran's key nuclear facilities. He gave the impression that the job was finished, but that wasn't the actual plan.

I don't know the plan going forward, but I don't believe Trump intends to run a shipping toll booth in cooperation with the terrorist Islamic regime that we've been bombing for the last 5 weeks. I think most people would agree that has a low probability of being the plan.

Hard to tell…

Is it that you folks still haven't figured out how Trump works?

Nah...You and ramenldr just can't stand the person.

It doesn't matter what he does, it will always be wrong to y'all.

There is no tune-changing there. He can be in favor of a joint toll booth and still pissed off that Iran is doing it on their own in spite of an agreement not to.

Oh, I expect Trump's detractors to hold him responsible for anything and everything he says. Based on your response, I expect you'll be right in there with 'em, bemoaning the fact that the president misled you during wartime. Carry on.
