After observing that poster for period of several years, I also think it was clear what he meant. Just not what you said. He meant that the US "blew" $300M in the sense that word is always used when people talk about blowing money. Frivolously or wastefully or unnecessarily spent, which is incorrect for multiple reasons.
I'm so sorry that you were born retarded.
My next post, which I had already made before you expressed your confusion, stated "Worth every penny."

RE: The Pilot’s Rescue (an alternate history)
It’s April 5th, 2026 (or, as President Kamala Harris declared it, the “Trans Day of Visibility”).
On a routine training mission over Kuwait, an American F-15 pilot became disoriented, failed to respond to orders from her flight lead, and flew into Iranian airspace, only to be immediately shot down by China’s latest air defense system, bought by Iran with the money President Harris had been shipping to Iran monthly to assist in the build-up of their nuclear weapons program.
The pilot was a 1st Lt. and had just recently graduated from flight school, over the objections of her instructor pilots. Despite her known shortcomings, the training squadron commander had been forced to give her a set of wings and an F-15 seat because otherwise he would have failed to meet his monthly quota for female pilots.
On the run, 1st Lt. Jones was doing the best she could to evade Iranian ground forces, but due to changes in SERE training to make it less offensive to a variety of leftwing grievance groups, she really did not know what she was doing. Still, she had not yet been captured.
President Harris convened her core inner circle for national defense matters in an emergency meeting:
1. Vice President Elmer Fudd (known for his proficiency in shooting down flying birds).
2. Secretary of State Adam Schiff.
3. National Security Advisor Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
4. Secretary of Defense Tom Nichols.
5. CIA Director Alexander Vindman.
5. Chairwoman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff ADM Lisa Franchetti.
After 30 minutes of deliberation, the President’s team determined it was too risky to mount an attempt to rescue 1st Lt. Jones. The CENTCOM commander was ordered to call Jones on her survival radio and order her to surrender, while Secretary Schiff would negotiate her release. (Israel had offered to help but President Harris would not even take their call.)
Following orders, 1st Lt. Jones surrendered and was taken to Tehran for interrogation.
Due to the open borders policies of President Harris and her predecessor, President Biden, Iran had a large, functioning arm of its Quds Force on the ground in the USA. Members of that force went to 1st Lt. Jones’ house and took pictures of her children playing in the front yard. Showing these pictures to Jones and threatening to kill her children, 1st Lt. Jones was forced to film a tearful confession of war crimes and a lengthy denunciation of the USA as “The Great Satan.”
(CNN played this video virtually on a loop for 7 days while their announcers silently smiled like Hannibal Lecter.)
Months of negotiations ensued between Schiff and Iran, and ultimately Schiff was able to obtain Jones' release by agreeing to (i) ship 500 pounds of enriched, weapons grade uranium to Tehran, (ii) send $500bn in cash in small bills to the Iranian mullahs, (iii) withdraw all US forces from the Persian Gulf region, (iv) denounce Israel as a Satanic force and (v) make President Harris wear a hijab during all public appearances regarding the matter.
Upon 1LT Jones’ return home, she was met with great fanfare by a hijab-wearing President Harris at the White House, where Jones was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross, a Purple Heart, promoted to Captain and appointed to carry Harris’ nuclear football.
Months later Iran nuked Tel Aviv, Israel nuked Tehran in response and Secretary Schiff agreed to broker peace negotiations.
(Unfortunately for the mullahs, the Twelfth Imam did not then arise from a well in Qom. Boy oh boy were they pissed.)
Then I woke up and remembered what really happened: SecWar’s team put together a daring plan, President Trump said “EXECUTE” and we did.
* * *
P.S., coming from a family with military aviators and having spent plenty of time in the back of military aircraft piloted by women, I must say that there are PLENTY of highly competent female pilots whom I would trust with my life. But the fact is that during Democrat regimes plenty of unqualified people of all sorts were advanced into all kinds of jobs they had no business performing, thanks to DEI policies. I mean no offense to the many highly qualified female combat aviators, with whom I would proudly serve.

Names of IRGC forces killed while chasing a downed American pilot are emerging.
The regime took heavy losses in the operation, including:
- Ali Kiani — Basij member killed in Dehdasht
- Kamal Alirezadeh — naval officer killed. What was a naval officer doing in the mountains?
This shows how important it was for them to capture the pilot and take him hostage.
More names will come out in the Islamic Republic’s failed operation to capture the American pilot.

Details about the rescue op for the U.S. Weapon Systems Officer, via a U.S. military official:
"The mountain top area on the left is where the WSO was hiding (he ejected 5ish miles northwest of there). The right area is the makeshift landing strip where they landed 2 C-130s and had 4 MH-6 Little Birds.
"One Little Bird flew to that mountain top area and rescued the WSO and brought him back to the landing strip. And of course the two C-130s' nose gears got stuck in the dirt. So after a few hours they had to bring in three AFSOC Dash-8s to fly out the rescued WSO and the 100 or so personnel involved in the op." 1/2
quote:
"The op basically cost $300 million because they had to abandon the two AFSOC C-130s and the four MH-6 Little Birds. Then the U.S. Air Force had to use multiple bombs to blow up all the aircraft they abandoned at that airstrip. And the Iranians shot down 2 MQ-9s Reaper drones.
"Luckily the U.S. suffered no casualties and we had to use multiple bombs and missiles to blow up IRGC vehicles that tried to drive up the mountain and also those that tried to drive to the airstrip." 2/2

2 days, alone, in a US uniform with only a sidearm to protect yourself.
Agree, but there was an article that came out showing the airmen are better armed now. The ejection seat contains an assault rifle with 120 rounds of 5.56. Still a rough spot to be in.

THE EASTER MIRACLE
Today, Easter Sunday, marks the triumph of life over death, the defeat of sin, and the assurance of eternal hope. It is that celebration of eternal hope which brings peace, renewal of life and the triumph of love over hate.
The Easter miracle is considered the greatest victory in history.
And so, it fitting on this holiest of Christian days that a brave American warrior was rescued from behind enemy lines in one of the greatest search and rescue missions in military history. This soldier’s family will know today the full joy of Easter.
We are grateful for the leadership of our intrepid Commander-in-Chief @POTUS, our brilliant military leaders, and our brave special forces for this Easter miracle.
My thoughts and prayers are with the 13 families who will not have their heroes with them today. They gave the ultimate sacrifice. America owes these brave soldiers, and their families, a debt of gratitude for generations to come.

Pete Hegseth has been the best surprise of this administration, and I think it has a lot to do with him being determined to prove his doubters wrong.
His approval numbers are about to go through the roof
You should read his book, preferably through audible. He made his case for being selected Secretary of Defense/War.

We published in the edition | Assessment in Israel: Low chance of a deal with the Iranians, and in parallel, preparations are underway for a significant strike on Iranian energy infrastructure, including significant and new ones among them.
Further understanding in Israel that the Iranians are very concerned about an infrastructure war,
and frustrated that they are unable to achieve any gains in the Israeli rear, including strikes. On strategic facilities, and they understand that their missiles are less accurate than they thought.

To the Commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC):
Today, few doubt that little remains of the Velayat-e Faqih dictatorship but a half-dead body. As a result of five decades of warmongering and crimes, you are the real decision-makers of this collapsing system.
Your misguided regional policies and apocalyptic madness have brought the theater of war to Iran. Because you used it not for our people but instead militarized it, our country’s economic infrastructure is now in the crosshairs of two powers that have been roaming Iran’s skies for weeks. This infrastructure was built with the national wealth of Iran and is vital for the country’s reconstruction.
The corrupt regime of the Islamic Republic is on its way out. Your choice is not between survival and collapse; it is about how you collapse. The end of the current path is the delivery of a scorched earth to the Iranian nation following your inevitable downfall.
For the sake of Iran, for yourselves, and for your children, abandon this adventurism and warmongering. Do not leave Iran more bloodstained and wounded than it already is.
Allow the country’s infrastructure to be preserved for the Iranian nation. Stop your crimes. Step down from power.

Trump: Master of “Weaponized Uncertainty"
While pundits unravel his words like puzzles, the troops, timing, and pressure are telling the real story.
Pundits are tying themselves in knots. Allies whispering to each other like they’re trying to decode some grand mystery.
Frankly, it’s really not that complicated.
Trump says something wild. Markets twitch. Allies in a panic. Then, twenty-four hours later, he softens it. Or flips it. Or says something that sounds like the opposite. And everyone goes, “See? He doesn’t know what he’s doing.” “He’s getting old.”
No. That’s the part you’re still missing. He knows EXACTLY what he’s doing. He’s playing you.
“America won’t be there to help you anymore.” People heard that and lost their freakin’ minds.
But if you’ve watched him long enough, really watched, not just clips and headlines, you recognize the move instantly…
He’s forcing everyone else to...

Iran claims the skull of a U.S. servicemember was found in the wreckage of a destroyed C-130 (from the recent rescue operation)
U.S. CENTCOM says no personnel were killed and confirms the aircrafts were deliberately destroyed by U.S. forces so they don't fall into enemy hands
Tehran claims it shot them down, contradicting the U.S. version of events.
If they were shot down, then expect over 30 U.E. casualties, however take any Iranian claims with a massive grain of salt, especially with the ongoing propaganda war.
