I don't know what's going to happen. The USA has the military capability to destroy the Regime and De-Nazify Iran, but, IMHO, the USA may not have the Will to do so.
The Regime's plan is simple -- hold out until Trump loses domestic political power this November OR until Trump's term in office ends. Absolutely bank on the USA's politically fractured domestic landscape and bet on the American people's lack of resolve to finish what's been started.
Now, the American people didn't cut and run in either Iraq or Afghanistan. We stayed in both places for decades and I think we are still in Iraq. But, I'm just outlining what I think Iran's plan is -- and I think part of that plan is to hope that the American people lack the Will to complete a war of Regime change in Iran, and switch focus to changing the "regime" in the USA, i.e. regime change for the Trump "regime."
We will see!
I'm not happy, I'm feeling glad.

580 million in oil, that's about 5-6 tanker volumes, At market opening on Monday. That is not very significant. And the value of the bet is based on the percentage move. ie market drop of 5% makes that play worth about 26 million dollars. Which could be wiped out in 5 days just due to tanker demurrage rates.
