BREAKING: Oman has reached out to the US in an attempt to broker a peace deal with Iran, but President Trump declined, per Reuters.
Details include:
1. Oman has tried "multiple times" to open a line of communication, but the White House is "not interested"
2. A senior White House official said Trump ?is focused on pressing ahead with the war
3. "Maybe there's a day, but not right now," the official said
4. Iran has also rejected efforts by several countries to negotiate a ceasefire ?until the ?US and Israel end their airstrikes and meet certain demands

Inviting China to a war zone doesn’t seem like the best move.
China was getting oil from Iran at a huge discount. That is not happening anymore. And will not ever happen again.
China is also not getting cheap oil from Venezuela anymore.
Inviting china to protect the oil supply accomplishes many things.
1. It is a dig at china that we have control of their oil supply.
2. Their investment in Iran is gone.
3. If we coerce them into helping us (their enemy) the we get the straight oil flowing sooner and we humiliate them by forcing them to help us destroy their dearest friend.

I know this was said sorta tongue in cheek, but to address it anyway, because we have an opportunity to make huge friends out of a country who's gov't currently hates our guts. Better to leave Iran with warm fuzzy feeling about us and not give them reason to reject us.
