That fireball you’re looking at is not just an aircraft burning.
That is Iran’s last KC-747 aerial refueling tanker going up in flames at Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport after an Israeli strike.
For people who don’t follow military aviation… this is a massive loss.
Aerial refueling tankers are what allow long-range aircraft to stay in the air for hours… extend strike range… and project power far beyond national borders.
Without tankers… fighters are limited.
Without tankers… long-range strike operations become exponentially harder.
The KC-747 fleet Iran operated was already extremely small and aging.
Now one of the last operational tankers is gone in seconds.
That single explosion represents years of capability… logistics… and strategic reach disappearing in a moment.
Wars are not only decided by missiles and bombs.
Sometimes they are decided by the support aircraft that make those missions possible.
And tonight… one of those strategic lifelines just burned on the runway.
