How can you still have a war when one side has supposedly been wiped out?

Maybe one day we will learn what it actually takes to defeat an ideology and will actually have the stomach to do it. Until then this will just be a continuous pattern that comes back around every so many years.

An American source told Saudi channel Al-Hadath that the Trump administration monitored the movement of members of the Revolutionary Guards from Iran into Lebanon.
Members of the Lebanese security apparatus are suspected of involvement in issuing passports to Iranian operatives. According to the source, the passage of Iranians using Lebanese documents is being checked at Beirut airport and at the land border crossings.
It was also noted that loopholes exist in the registration of deaths in the Hezbollah environment, used as a means to bring Iranians in.

Trump is closing in on the Islamic Republic’s last major lifelines: China and Russia.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is outlining a two-track strategy to choke off the remaining support keeping the Islamic Republic financially and logistically afloat.
With China, the United States is targeting oil and money. Bessent says roughly 30 million barrels of Iranian oil remain on the water, while the blockade and secondary sanctions target the tankers, refiners, banks and intermediaries needed to sell new barrels and turn that revenue into usable cash.
With Russia, the United States is targeting the supply route. Bessent says Iranian state airlines are being used to move supplies from Russia, making landing rights, fuel, maintenance and other aviation services the next pressure points.
The United States does not need China or Russia to abandon the Islamic Republic. It is trying to make their remaining support increasingly difficult to deliver until the Islamic Republic is left economically and logistically isolated.

BREAKING | U.S. Message to Tehran: A New Chapter Has Begun — Energy Infrastructure Is Now on the Table
Following the strike, the United States delivered a message to Tehran through Qatar: If Iran continues to escalate, Washington is prepared to move from targeting military assets to striking energy and oil infrastructure.
According to the officials I am speaking with, this marks a turning point: if Iran escalates again, the U.S. could continue moving up the target ladder — from oil infrastructure to more significant strategic targets, including Kharg Island.

The regime is getting weaker and weaker, and at some point they are not going to be able to shoot so easily.
The people aren’t going to take it.

Interesting. It seems he is starting to get back on the regime change wagon and realizes the only way to end it, is to topple the death cult running Iran.
