Update on the Ballistic Missiles launched from Iran, it was a false alarm:
That tweet said it was "Iranian fighter jets."
I thought they had no air force. Where did those come from?

They parked their jets in Pakistan whenever the bombings started to save some of them.

Try to keep up if you are going to make a dumbass comment. It is well known they parked some jets in Pakistan when the bombings started. They retrieved them during the long cease fire.

Oooh! Try not to be such a sensitive snowflake.
Something else I missed. Trump being interviewed by his daughter-in-law Lara Trump on Fox News on June 2nd:
quote:
"Their military, we've sort of left it alone, because we think that their military is somewhat, somewhat moderate ... We've actually left their military alone. People would be surprised to hear that."

It's not about Ukraine for him, it's only about giving drones to the Iranian people. He's been consistent on this from day one. If he doesn't mention drones we start to worry about him.

You're one of several people who spend a lot of time and energy in this thread criticizing the Trump administration, but don't seem to have a good grasp of what's happened or why. Nonstop "gotcha" type comments like "Where'd they get the planes, I thought we destroyed their air force?" are one example. Or, "Where did they get that boat, I thought we sunk their navy?"
How is it that you folks read the comments that Iran's air force is "destroyed", but miss the dozens of contemporaneous times it's been said that some planes were evacuated before hostilities started? The reason some posters get annoyed is that your posting style feels more like playground banter intended to provoke than an honest discussion of facts. I'm not expecting that to change, just saying that annoyance at these repetitive childish jabs is not the same as being a "snowflake".
Re your question above, It's been discussed from the outset that the US and Israel are focused on IRCG forces much more than the regular Iranian army. The IRCG is the regime's trusted force and the power behind their foreign based militia. There have been suggestions that the regular army might switch sides when the time is right. That's why they've mostly left the regular army alone.

The Air Force question is understandable. Remember, Iraq sent dozens of planes to Iran during their wars against us. But, Iran would not give them back and, of course, they were not used. So, to me, it appeared the same situation......that Turkey let them send them to Turkey BUT, they wouldn't be able to use them during the course of the war. And probably Turkey would keep them. Why Turkey let them return to Iran during a cease fire shows what kind of friends they are with the US.
Also, it appears the air corridor is and has been wide open. No telling how much military equipment came in and continually comes in from other countries. The air corridor and all air traffic should have been shut down from the time of the first shot till its finally over. No exceptions. If people want to leave the country, let them walk to the border and grow wings and fly away.
It just seems to me the way Trump is handling this, there is a major issue that is top secret. idk. Maybe a serious warning from China, or something that could shake everything up, idk.

Did Trump not say that their nuclear capability had been "obliterated"?
Did Trump not say that their navy was at the bottom of the ocean?
Did Trump not say that "they have no air force"?
Did Trump not say just a few days ago that we were planning to "beat the fricking shite out of them" before dropping more bombs onto an already heavily bombed coastline?
But you accuse me of using "playground banter".
If the president had not have told us that "they have no air force" then I would not be having to ask where those jets came from.
For the record, I voted for Trump 3 times and will vote for whomever the next Republican candidate is.

And there's my point, childish jabs, repeated over and over and over throughout the thread. You already knew the answer because the question has been asked and answered dozens of times. We destroyed the planes that were in Iran, but not the ones that they moved to Pakistan because we weren't at war with Pakistan. Nevertheless, the remnants of the Iranian air force and Navy that remain are a non-factor.
You asked the question to be annoying, like a 14 year old in the school yard. It was a childish "Gotcha, I caught the president in a lie". Like I said, I don't expect your behavior to change. You and your buds are too simpleminded to have a realistic conversation. Carry on with your adolescent trolling.

How many jets did they park in other countries?
According to google, no fighters....
So, regardless of what YOU say, the question of where did these fighter jets come from is very legit given the US Governments statements that we wiped out their airforce.

quote:
No, there is no evidence that Iran relocated actual fighter jets (such as F-14s, MiG-29s, or Su-35s) to neighboring countries.
The U.S. intelligence officials cited in the CBS News report specifically identified the transferred planes as support, reconnaissance, and civilian aircraft.
What Was Actually Moved
Intelligence Assets: The primary military aircraft identified by U.S. officials was an Iranian Air Force RC-130, which is a specialized reconnaissance and intelligence-gathering variant of the C-130 Hercules transport plane.
Civilian Fleet: Iran’s Mahan Air transferred parts of its commercial passenger fleet to airports in Kabul and Herat, Afghanistan, to get them out of harm's way. When U.S. intelligence officials described the maneuver as an effort to protect "remaining military and aviation assets," they were referring to these high-value transport and surveillance platforms rather than combat fighter squadrons.
So, regardless of what YOU say, the question of where did these fighter jets come from is very legit given the US Governments statements that we wiped out their airforce.

I don't know? Would it change the answer that we destroyed whatever they left behind or tried to deploy? If they build more, or buy some from China, does that mean we didn't destroy the air force in Iran? Repeatedly asking these questions that have known answers is a troll technique. Just say Orange Man Bad, it's quicker and no less transparent.

The only one trolling is you.
When the president says "we wiped out their airforce"
And then their fighter jets appear in the skies, then asking where those came from is a legitimate question. It isn't trolling.

I kinda came up with a wild arse guess thinking about it. The size of their air wing that included fighters, attack, and fighter-bomber aircraft before this started was 234 aircraft. The most advanced of these being F-14s (25 aircraft) and MIG 29s (24 aircraft). It would make the most since they would try to get their most valuable assets to Pakistan. 12 F-14s were confirmed as destroyed as well as 4 MiG 29s. So based on that little information and me making a lot of assumptions I'd say at least 20 aircraft.

It was reported months ago that Iran has moved military aircraft to Pakistan. So, regardless of what you or some left wing google fact checker says, the most likely explanation is that they did exactly that. Revisionism to prove "Trump lied" is rampant on the left. Did they manage to hide a few inside Iran, keep them hidden. Maybe, but we have destroyed anything we found and will destroy whatever they bring back or unhide.

Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis attacked Saudi Arabia this week from Iraqi territory in coordination with Iraqi armed groups, Reuters reported, citing assessments by Saudi Arabia and regional partners and two officials in the region.
The attacks included strikes on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia’s eastern province, the kingdom’s main crude-producing hub.
The assessments differed from official accounts and suggested growing coordination among Iran-aligned groups in the region, the report said.

The point is, who gives a shite?
There hasn't been reporting of one dog fight with an Iranian jet and there hasn't been one report of an Iranian jet doing anything offensively. That's what the men in the room care about. The children in the room can continue to criticize the President's every comment. Y'all act like the MSM.

It's being pedantic at best.
If you destroy 90% of one's air force for example, and effectively remove it as a factor in a military conflict, saying you "wiped out their air force" does not become a lie or deception because you can point to some of their planes still existing.
