Reports are emerging of air defense activity around Tehran, with explosions also reported near Borujerd, Iran. The cause of the activity has not yet been determined.
Visible military air traffic over the region currently includes three U.S. Air Force KC-135 "Stratotankers", two KC-46A "Pegasus", and one E-3 "Sentry" airborne early warning and control (AWACS) aircraft.
As always, this represents only the aircraft visible on public flight-tracking services such as @flightradar24
, and likely reflects only a portion of the overall air activity supporting operations in the region.

TAMPA Fla. — U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) ended an evening wave of strikes against Iran at 9 p.m. ET on July 15.
U.S. forces struck Iranian command centers, air defense sites, missile and drone capabilities, and coastal surveillance facilities to further degrade Iran's ability to threaten innocent mariners crewing commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM used precision munitions to hit targets in multiple locations including Bandar Abbas.
Earlier this morning, American forces struck coastal defense and cruise missile sites on Greater Tunb Island during a 90-minute wave.
The U.S. military is holding Iran accountable at the Commander in Chief's direction.

With Iran slinging missiles and drones at their neighbors, why don’t their neighbors so that’s enough and join the cause? They always “condemn” the strikes but never retaliate?
