If we firebombed a few Iranian cities and took out civilian infrastructure the fake news media would side with Iran and say we are committing war crimes.
If we send in ground troops there will be mass outrage because after two middle eastern wars public sentiment is against more of them. The ground forces wing of our military (Army/Marines) has been rendered essentially into a giant social welfare program.

What is the point of bombing the other Arab states? Seems ridiculous on their part to widen the war against them.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it intercepted and stopped a second vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, as part of what it described as retaliation for continued US attacks on Iranian military positions.
