Growing calls to impeach Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi over the proposed MOU with the United States.
Hardline MP Amirhossein Sabeti has announced plans to pursue Araghchi’s impeachment, accusing him of pursuing dangerous concessions to America and repeating the mistakes of past negotiations.
Sabeti is closely aligned with Saeed Jalili and represents one of the Islamic Republic’s most uncompromising factions. But this goes beyond one political camp.
The significance is that the regime’s own supporters are increasingly turning on one another over negotiations with the United States.
For one side, the regime’s worsening economic crisis makes some form of agreement necessary. For the other, any compromise with America is viewed as betrayal.
The proposed MOU is exposing deep fractures within the Islamic Republic’s core support base. The same movement that once united around revolutionary slogans is now increasingly divided over how to ensure the regime’s survival.

Trump is a genius. He has the Iranian regime fractured and fighting with each other. He drove the demorats and liberals out of their minds now he is doing the same to the rats in Iran.

Ghalibaf is a longtime member, a leader, of the IRGC and is now a politician. He's positioning himself for a greater role going forward and believes playing the "deal" game is the best way for him.
A leopard doesn't change its spots, particularly an extremist Muslim leopard that has recently been on the record for a hardline approach to running Iran. They can frame it/him however they want, but that guy is the regime. The regime made him, and he has continued to support the regime, calling for an even heavier hand. Make a deal with that dude with extreme caution, because he has never hid what he is.

I have a feeling some factions of the IRGC are not his friends at the moment.

Or that faction gets tired of him and hangs him somewhere.

Guess we will see if the IRGC will respond or not.

Following Hezbollah’s launch of aerial targets toward Israeli territory earlier today (Sunday), the IDF conducted a precise strike on a Hezbollah command center in Beirut.
The command center was used by Hezbollah terrorists to advance terrorist attacks against the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon.
Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
The Hezbollah terrorist organization continues to advance terror attacks against the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF soldiers.

has crossed Iran’s red lines and made excessive concessions, especially in the aftermath of the assassination
There’s the pot calling the kettle black.
So it’s okay for Iran to attempt to assassinate the US President, but the US shouldn’t retaliate?
Eff that ….

We're reaching the end of the weekly Iran deal cycle. Everyone ready to get back on the ride again to be back here next week?
