I have a new theory. I am not saying this is true or that I believe it because I don't know what the heck Trump is doing.
Just floating this out there.
Trump is telling Israel publicly not to attack Iran but that is just cover. It gives Iran a preferred target. It elevates Israel above SA etc.
So if Iran exclusively targets Israel it makes air defense a whole lot easier that trying to defend all of the middle east oil infrastructure.
Just a thought.

I doubt it. When Iran started attacking all of its neighbors it seemed bat shite crazy. But, turns out it was a truly brilliant tactical decision to spread defenses throughout the region.
It’s also kind of funny to watch the Arabs dutifully accept it while arresting their own citizens who post it on social media.

Trump publicly being against Israel fricking them up is only hurting, not helping. It gives Iran more ammo and leverage than it helps the US or Isreal.
We've lost all leverage at this point, if Trump were wise he'd be painting it like Israel is our attack dog and willing to do terrible things to Iran if let off the chain. Let Isreal give them some haymakers and appear unified in your resolve with them, not this catfight with Bibi bullshite that makes it look like we're melting down and weakening. Even if it's fake, at least APPEAR like you're willing to slap them around for their violations of the agreed upon ceasefire whether we do it ourselves or through Isreal.
Trump is not playing this well at all. I can only hope he knows something and has a plan or an angle, or the blockade is doing much more harm than Iran is letting on publicly and he's willing to wait them out. Because right now he's coming off weak and incompetent
