sorry i assumed she had some clue what she meant and was referring to.
if we're just talking ports in general then yeah, i have no idea what you might connect there because as you just illustrated it could be anything.
typically when a someone has said comm port theyr'e reffering to a serial port at the MSPs i've worked at.

I was wrong, she said comm ports and didn't specify beyond that. i interpreted into that and envisioned a serial port.
we're on the same page now though. she's just referring to general ports we don't know the kind of port because she just said com port.

That is 100% unacceptable, and it shouldn't come down to political affiliation for that to piss you off.

100% right. oklahogjr just attempted to discredit a person that talked over the use of a broad term Com Port to discredit her or shame the event.
