Well libs... you live by the Antifa, you die by the Antifa.

This was a clearly justified act of self defense by police, but because you can’t help yourselves, you are going to inadvertently deliver Pennsylvania to Trump. We thank you

Reading Twitter this AM, the amount of people who think this was unjustified is staggering. It truly is a different reality than the one most of us live in.

This was no saint. His rap sheet included domestic abuse, aggravated assault, terroristic threats and robbery. Give me a break.

I try not to make generational arguments, but there really does seem to be something to the suggestion that we have, in part, a younger generation that has been taught that almost nothing is their fault.

So, if you start with the presumption that A) ACAB (All Cops Are Bad) and that means that B) A person, especially a hallowed POC (Person of Color) has the right to resist their fascist (because they're cops) machinations, then C) If the cop resists your resisting and you get hurt of die than the cop is 100% at fault and you are blameless.

At which point, it's time to riot and go get a new TV.

for frick's sake...

cleanest shoot you will see.

as a cop, once you make the decision to shoot, you shoot to kill. not to wound. not to subdue. KILL.

the only reason you are shooting is because the person poses an immediate grave threat to you, your fellow officers or the public.

once you start pulling the trigger, you do not stop until you KNOW the threat has been elimitated.

period.

the fact that people are reacting in this fashion is one of only two reasons:

1) pure opportunism. they don't care about what happened or who was shot, or why. they only seek the opportunity created by chaos for their own personal gain

2) a renunciation of the civil contract due to race. because they are black, they do not believe they are responsible for their conduct and should not be held to account for their conduct, to the point that others should suffer loss, injury or death so that they can live their consequence-free lifestyle.

That hell hole still has one or two really decent neighborhoods. I'd (maybe foolishly) feel safe in the historically Italian/Sicilian neighborhood with the great kitchen supply store.

But neighborhoods that were nice, now are skeletons of their former selves. Magnificent stone homes, built to last centuries, now have the glass knocked out of their windows, doors off their hinges and landscaping drowned by trash.
