they were treating it like a DC jury poll would be made up of typical DC residents .

And it will.

Do you disagree that the Judicial authority in a Federal court differs from that of your average District court?

In what way? If your talking allowing for dismissal for cause because someone can’t speak English…then yes I disagree. The authority is identical.

And since you're an attorney, how many federal cases have been overturned because of a tainted jury

you should research that. You won’t like what you find.

No. Dude. You made a silly comment and were smug about it. Just move on. Happens all the time around here.

well.. we'll see how this jury compares to others from DC

may take a couple of years but Im willing to bet it won't be like a typical murder trial in DC

I mean, we live in a society where a chimp can literally stab a women in the neck on a subway and it be captured on video and they deem him too incompetent to stand trial. So, I see a high likelihood we have same results with Cole Allen.

Well what would be interesting if a Democrat judge gets the trial, the shooter is somehow found innocent, and then a subsequent Republican dominated Senate impeaches that judge

Will never happen. Democrats would need to join Republicans to impeach.

I think we are likely to see a DC federal judge rule that Cole is mentally incompetent. It will be another Hinckley ruling. In less than 10 years, Cole will be back attending progressive protests with his friends from Reddit.

Well several things are wrong with what you're trying to share

one I said
quote:

subsequent
, which the word subsequent means 1 after this not immediately after this, but one after this

The trial won't be happening within the next six months so the current makeup of the Senate isn't even in play in this potential scenario

Like I said, a caricature. It’s kinda sad really. Have fun.

She isn't the jury, and lately trial juries have been letting criminals off for politics

Republicans will never hold a large enough majority in the Senate to impeach. Too many Democrats think exactly like this shooter.
