this post is so devoid of facts and understanding of macroeconomics that I'm not even going to try to respond. congrats, you got the president you wanted, let's see how it plays out.
Ok, where am I wrong? We have huge trade deficits, that’s money going out. I’m saying Trump, and all of us are screwed. We don’t make anything anymore. We’ve allowed cheap labor overseas to create a production imbalance that will cause pain to fix. Again, I’m saying Trump and every American has tremendous pain ahead, how am I wrong? I’d like to know.,.

Good luck selling "We have to be ready to absorb the pain" while simultaneously showcasing your new $300 million dollar ballroom and all the cool gold accents you're adding.
That's why I mentioned Vance.

There's definitely a contingent that is.

Go look at the global flows of capital - then get back to me.

It is always fun when leftists posters show up with any glimmer of bad news, yet for four years I bet you avoided this board while the retarded pedophile you voted for released his auto pen. Now all of the experts are back to tell us who is really at fault.

Dude, Trump has been the worst of them all with respect to printing money we don't have.
Gee, do you think having a once in a century pandemic where the economy was closed for months might have something to do with it?

Don't even try to make that argument.

It won’t be enough, just watch…they might put a bandaid on things for a while, but you’ll need a collapse to have affordable anything

How’d 2017-19 go (all of which were very strong economic years)?

No, it has everything to do with AI replacing human jobs however.
Then we should end H1B entirely to offset agree?

Everyone has to. It can be proportional but no one should be exempt. Poor all the way up to the Musk types. We all have to have skin in the game if we're going to fix this mess.
Unfortunately that's not the MAGA plan

I can’t wait to hear how tariffs on other countries which are largely consumption taxes are causing mass layoffs. The majority of job cuts are government related and are you arguing against spending cuts?

He’s avoided this board after November 2024. He used to claim he was a libertarian but gave up on that schtick a while back. Big anime guy too.

Trump was running TRILLION dollar deficits BEFORE the pandemic, so that dog don't hunt. Maybe you should look at actual facts rather than go to your default setting of Trump can do no wrong.

How dare you question my pitiful analysis! When you say something stupid, you should expect to be called out on it. Just saying, "I refuse to entertain a counterargument," doesn't work on people who can think for themselves.
For the reason I stated above, if you willfully deny facts and reality, what is the point of debating? Trump ran trillion-dollar deficits prior to the pandemic. I didn't pull those numbers out of a hat, but it's the truth.

When will the accurate, adjusted, numbers be released?

The last time the numbers were accurate Trump fired the person that sent out the report

I saw some of his post history.
Typical Progressive that claims to be moderate, but supports every far left opinion out there. Then makes snide remarks when his ideology is proven to be shite.

Trump fired the person he said had "the biggest miscalculations in over 50 years." He was correct about that.
Don't believe me? ABC News's fact check confirmed BLS made the largest revisions outside of a recession since 1968 while she was in charge. How many years ago was 1968? Notably, they still labeled Trump's claims as "false" even while confirming he was correct, which means he had valid reasons to fire her. LINK

That's not true.

The two-month revision in last week's jobs report was the largest since 1968 outside of a recession, according to economists at Goldman Sachs. The economy is not currently in a recession according to latest data.

You guys really love attacking posters when you can't contend with reality
Total bitch move honestly

Job losses are only gonna get worse with AI that doesn’t mean the economy is doing bad though. By the time the midterm is roll around we will have the best economy in the history of this country as Trump keeps letting his genius plan work. Amazing how people are jumping off the Trump train when all he’s done is have success after success, literally world changing things like world peace. I didn’t vote for a president that was just gonna worry about America. I wanted a president that was going to heal the world.
