Not talking about the OSHA mandate, but Ochsner’s own private mandate enjoined by the state 2nd Circuit.

Do you have a link?
I am so perplexed about how Ochsner even did this.
The federal suits are challenging whether Xiden’s vaccine mandates are legal (the ones done by OSHA and CMS - pertaining to healthcare workers). It’s questioning whether hospitals/employers can be required to require vaccines.
The second circuit court of appeal in a state suit - held that a TRO should issue until the Louisiana Supreme Court chimes in about whether an employer can voluntarily decide to make vaccines a condition of continued employment- which is what Ochsner did, and why it got sued. A court ordered Ochnsner (sorry I’m not from New Orleans so I don’t know how to spell Oschner) to not fire nurses who wouldn’t vax. And now - If ochsner did this it’s violating a court order.

If I were Ochsner I’d throw the state court litigation. That would do two things; one, protect them from the feds on Medicare reimbursements, and, two, instantly improve their popularity and credibility with their workers and the community.

You’d think ochsner would be sympathetic to people not wanting to get the vaccine since their founder killed his own grandson with the polio vaccine.

The whole mandate IMO is a crock of shite BUT if a company or state want to impose them ON THEIR OWN I'm fine with it.....yay US Constit
Then do not come at me saying I need to receive medical treatment because the hospitals can’t keep up.
Don’t you fricking dare.
Not you, but the medical community.

These questions are legit tho
You are a blithering idiot. In your worm infested mind a private company can violate your rights? Idiot.

It’s a 5 year prison sentence and I guarantee you will get that in front of a Democrat judge. Which is pretty much all of them where I live.

Firing workers will certainly help with that.

This whole corona virus disaster is so bizarre. All the Faucites use the same discussion points and never address the “con” arguments. Sadly most doctors are drinking the Kool Aid and spout the same nonsense. There is no place for nuance are contrary opinions. Even Tylenol has a warning label. Surely, there must be risks.

A fake ID is 5 years in the pen now? The college kids only get misdemeanors for fake IDs in college.

Are we really melting over 1% of the Ochsner workforce refusing to get vaccinated?

That 1% is ~5x higher than the Covid death rate and that percentage was enough to murder our own economy and violate civil rights...
So yes, that's a pretty big deal comparatively.

Certainly there will be mass unemployment filings which is more money out of their pocket.
Second, there will be lawsuits that they are most likely to lose for various reasons.
Third, my doctors office was short staffed on nurses in Florida so if they come to Orlando there are openings

Is that for merely using one. Or selling them for profit. I would think the latter.
