To be fair, Obama had a Republican Congress when he was signing all those executive orders, he really didn't have any choice as the Congress wouldn't allow any bills (or damn few) to get to the President's desk.
Trump will have a Republican Congress, and won't need to issue EOs - at least for the first two years.

I know this board is post facts and doesn't care about the truth. Obama issued fewer executive orders per year than Bush jr, reagan, ford, clinton, bush sr, carter, nixon,kennedy, ike and johnson.

You might want to do a bit of research and compare those executive orders in terms of scope and impact.

Maybe what Obama's telling Trump is that in the event Trump gets a Democratic Congress, don't do shite - just like the Republicans wanted him to do.

It doesn't matter. The Office of the Presidency is and was limited by our constitution.
Obama seized/borrowed power that wasn't his like a dictator does.
His administration was antipathy to rule of law.
