He's literally criticizing himself. Everything he describes is the MO of the "community organizer"- casting stones, demonizing, tearing down ones opponents with straw men.
He looks like such a small and weak man, wanting to take the role of a scholar philosopher and doesn't seem to take much pride as being a former president.
