Pookie needn't worry. Power is religion to these radicalized democrats. As long as they hold that Oval Office, and at least one legislative branch (or SCOTUS), they can dictate the terms of their power. Therefore, they WILL NEVER allow that office to slip from them, even if they have to lie, cheat, and steal the office. Which they have proven to be adept at doing - stealing elections.
