I think the legacy UFO program is being run out of this Department. Not worried about Bill snooping around our nuclear program that much but some of the other stuff?

Another interesting timeline coincidence here is that 2014 is when they began the GoF research on coronaviruses. Gates being so keenly interested in viruses and vaccines. Interesting that his clearance lapsed after the vaccines were rolled out.

All the retrieval operations are handled by NEST teams. There is a certain type of classification they are allowed to use for their operations that shield them from oversight. They then engage with military contractors and thats how everything ultimately gets buried. There is likely a shadow Goverment within the IC that helps coordinate but a lot of operational stuff is carried out under the DoE banner to take advantage of policies enacted since the cold war.
