The same with David Duke back in 2016. He had disappeared until the left brought him back out of the shadows so they could paint Trump as a racist.
By painting any and everyone as a racist, you end up politicians like MTG who have no shame because there is a dwindling number of sane people on the right that want to subject his or her family to the bull shite of the left and the mainstream media.

Friedman has had weird China fixation for years...it used to be all based on infrastructure. He's is/was considered an expert on the ME, but was consistently, laughably wrong. He's a terrible columnist.
