The assessor said Mar-A-Lago was only worth 18 million dollars so that is what the judge said it was worth when in reality it is worth somewhere between 500 million and a billion dollars. This is 100% a screw job.

This has nothing to do with the tax code.
Then what is the crime? Specifically?

Maybe Trump could use the Commerce Clause impairment to get this into a Federal Judge

The tax assessor in Santa Clara County and I are golf buddies. Every time I complain about my assessment, he says he will buy my house right now at that value. I, of course, back down immediately. There is absolutely nothing illegal about having an assessment below the actual value.

Trump lied to banks and insurers by both overvaluing and undervaluing his assets when it was to his benefit, while at the same time exaggerating his net worth to the tune of billions of dollars.
...In his 35-page ruling, Judge Arthur Engoron said Trump continually lied on his financial statements and was able to get favorable loan terms and lower insurance premiums as a result. Trump's legal arguments defending the statements are based in "a fantasy world, not the real world," Engoron wrote.

So did trump rely on assessors or on valuations? Surely you know the difference.

The Dems in the DOJ are so corrupt and political. What a joke they have become to this institution.

It’s incredible this thing survived summary judgement. Our “justice” system is a joke.

No. I don’t. You have clearly never applied for a loan. Banks don’t just trust you.

Trump is a thief. Understates income, overstates expenses..,overvalues properties to reduce taxes to the state. Did the same with his fed taxes as well. Cheats and lies. What a character.

I'm aware of that...apparently, when he applied for loans, he wrote down what he wanted...and the banks believed it. Banks are probably at fault as well.
