There are reports everywhere that Ralph Abraham's son in law donated 5 grand to John Bel. It terrifies me that if the family is that butt hurt about the attack ads what does that say about other Abraham supporters?.... If Rispone loses this election it is all on him!!!!!
I do not trust the religious right in Louisiana to do the right thing. If they get offended they will burn the whole fricking barn down out of spite. We have already seen that in the last governor's race. God help us. I'm truly concerned about tomorrow

Abraham knows the right thing to do here and did it.

Let’s see if his voters do the same.

If Rispone loses it's all on him and those who voted for him in the primary. This was the most winnable gov election in my lifetime (except maybe the David Duke run).

I am hopeful that Louisiana will reelect JBE tomorrow, the best governor we have had this century!

Lighten up Francis. If JBE wins its not the end of the world. Just means we'll get a decent candidate 4 years from now.

It'll just be the end of Louisiana.

Abraham was a horrible candidate and campaigner.

Louisiana has had worse Governors than Edwards and we're still here. As long as people use us at their destination for debauchery and cholestral, we'll be fine.

Rispone is worse. At least Abraham had a record he could run on.

LOL! Abraham was crushed. Had no chance against Honor Chode. When someone without any political experience beats a sitting congressman, its bad.

Abraham would have all of Rispone's voters, which means this election would be in the bag.

Now you tell me who the terrible candidate and campaigner is. If Rispone was a good campaigner, he'd have all of Abraham's support. But no, he chose to lie like a Dem, so some Republicans will vote like a Dem. 100% on him and his campaign manager.

Don’t fret. Four years from now, Louisiana will be in the same exact shape it is now, or worse. Way too many deeper issues for one governor to fix in four years.

True. But Republicans voting for Democrats while they are trying to overthrow the government scares the hell out of me.

I'll never vote Dem, but I'm not voting for slimy R's either.

Problem is that there are no good candidates .... Landry, Nungesser, Kennedy?? Who will step up in 4 years (IF JBE wins) to take back our state? We need better leadership in BR but we also need better leadership and backbones across the state. The Gov is only 1 (albeit important) position in the entire equation. We need structural reform across the board. Locally and Statewide....

If Graves or Scalise run they’d win 70-30

Agreed but they are more suited where they are at...honestly, we need more rockstars in DC than in BR.
