Which is how it should be or else it's not actually insurance. During the debate over the ACA and the individual mandate Democrats liked to say that the individual mandate was similar to auto insurance. Well, I can't get cause a bunch of wrecks and then get auto insurance. No auto insurance company would cover me and if they did it would cost me an arm and a leg. Which makes sense. If you are going to cost more to insure it should cost you more to be covered.

I'd never begrudge anyone for the COVID precautions they choose to take, but it is interesting that Kamala Harris is calling in remotely from about 30 feet away in her Senate office when this would undoubtedly be more powerful in person.
